At this workshop, I will be showing everyone the basics-kicks to start off with, along with how to stall the bag with proper foot placement. The 2 most used areas of your foot are town kicks and inside kicks which we will be going over. These are components of footbag that should be learned on both sides along with every trick to find a nice balance in your game. There are also outside kicks and knee bumps which are handy to know just in case the bag doesn’t go straight up, which will also commonly happen when you first start off kicking the bag. Footbag is kind of like juggling where we want to keep the kicks at a consistent height which is usually right above your forehead and to keep the bag as centred as possible without moving from the same spot. Some other tips to know are to breathe between each kick and to count between each kick till you can get 3 kicks in a row. Please bring a pair of dry Canvas shoes preferably with a flat toe and inside surfaces.
