Intro To Film PhotographyFilm photography offers a unique look, amazing quality, and possesses characteristics that you cannot achieve with digital imaging. The popularity of the medium is once again growing and manufacturers are responding by bringing back beloved film types that have been long dormant. However, this type of photography can also be intimidating to get started.
This class will cover the basics of film photography. We will cover light metering, film speed, camera operation, and will discuss the chemical theory of film. This is an opportunity to learn how to get comfortable capturing pictures with your film camera. Whether you are brand new to this, or you haven't picked up your camera in 30 years this class will give you the tools to get out there and get shooting!
This class is designed for the person who is curious about the unique qualities of film photography and wants to get started shooting film on a 35mm or 120mm camera.
Audience
This course covers a wide range of topics to give a beginning photographer a good overview of the basic terminologies and practical techniques of film photography. It also is a great refresher for those who shot film in the past and want to get back into it.
