Intro to Film Photography by CA Film Lab

Join us in person for a fun and laid-back session where you'll dive into the basics of film photography. We will go over different cameras, film stocks, and camera settings. Whether you use a dispoable, point and shoot, or already have an SLR and are looking to understand more about the fundementals of shooting film, this is a perfect start. We encourage you to bring your camera if you have one - if not, we'll have some avaible for use as well!

• A roll of 35mm color film
• Develop and scan

Run down

We'll start off with a lesson on film photography and a rundown on manual film cameras. We will go over ISO, shutter speed, and aperature, as well as how to load a film roll and avoid blank rolls. We'll also get familiar with with using manual settings and focus. Afterwards, we'll go on a little photowalk to test out what has been learned. This session is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and connect with other photographers!
