In this workshop participants will learn the basics of electricity and toubleshooting techniques. Then the group will work together to diagnose failures on items participants bring with them. Repairing any hardware with the materials we have onsite will be be undertaken and for more complex repairs needing specific hardware, approaches, materials and techniques for those repairs will be discussed.
There will be some basic materials for common repairs onsite. If you have a broken toaster, iron, hand mixer, digital clock radio, etc please bring it to this workshop and submit information about on the signup form.
Bring Your Own Broken Electronic.
Age Range: 14+

Instructor Bio:
Jim Yetter is a recently retired Divsion Engineering Manager for a large industrail motion and controls company. His background includes control programming, electrical control circuits and electrical power systems. In addition, Jim has extensive experience with mechanical systems and is a former Ontario College professor.
