Intro to DJing with DJ Sarah

Join DJ Sarah for a special two hour workshop for femme, gender diverse, non-binary and trans folk who are looking to learn the very basics of DJing, dance music and breaking into the local dance music scene.

This session is designed for those interested in taking the first step into DJing and learning the very basics in a once-off crash course.

The evening will wrap up with special guest DJs from the DJ 101 alumni performing and a chance to mingle with your fellow music lovers over a drink in the balmy Queen Victoria Gardens.

A well known face in the Australian music industry, Sarah Morgan is a Mentor, Booker, Promoter, Artist Manager, A&R scout, and DJ – both solo as DJ Sarah, and in her duo IN2STELLAR. In her time, Sarah has become a voice and advocate for diversity and inclusivity in the music industry. She co-created WIP Project last year with this mission in mind, and is consistently using her platform to push for positive change. Her duo has performed at many of Australia’s biggest festivals and clubs, and together with her DJ partner Georgia Bird, she runs reputable local events as Neurotiq Erotiq.
