Intro to Dinosaurs

(Ages 10 & up) Professional geologists and Master Naturalists Randy and Dawn Bissell present a friendly lecture slideshow that will include general theories on the evolution, lifeway, extinction and legacy of the dinosaurs. Focus will be on a walk-through of Mesozoic Era geologic history emphasizing the key interpretations from the rock record that inform our perceptions of the dinosaurs and other life. Parents and children can learn how the science has changed rapidly over the years--and how the media has shaped our view on this very popular topic.
