About this Event

The ULTIMATE debate crash course and introduction -- featuring 1st Place World Individual Debating & Public Speaking Championships winner Maria Ivoditova.

Improve your critical thinking and public speaking skills! Learn the basics of powerful debating and dive straight into an exciting verbal joust.

Intro to Debate is designed for both absolute novices and intermediate student debaters in grades 7-12. The workshop will highlight the basics of debate as well as top tips for debate success. It will be followed by a debate session held in smaller groups around a common topic.
