Darning is a relaxing and rewarding way to extend the life of a garment and truly make it one of a kind.In a world of fast fashion and skyrocketing prices, it's invaluable to know how to repair your clothes. Darning is a great place to start!
Our resident Mischief Maker Alex will guide you through the process of darning clothing repair. Bring your own well-worn clothes, or use one of an array of pieces we'll provide.
WORKSHOP INFO:
AGE APPROPRIATE FOR: 14+
LEVEL: Beginner
TOOLS AND MATERIALS PROVIDED:
- Needles
- Thread
- Embroidery floss
- Darning mushrooms
- Fabric
This workshops is $80 with all materials included for you to use and take with you when you're finished to continue your mending journey.
Children (age 8-18) automatically receive a 25% discount at checkout.
All our workshops include free coffee and tea. Borrow one of our mugs, or bring your favourite reusable containers.
