About this Event
Cyanotype Workshop at The Insect Asylum 🌿💀✨
Step into the world of early photography and natural art with our hands-on Cyanotype Workshop at The Insect Asylum!
In this class, you’ll learn the magical process of cyanotype printing — a historic photographic technique that uses sunlight to create striking blue images. Using real plants, bones, and other sustainably sourced organic specimens from our collection, you’ll compose and expose your own one-of-a-kind prints. Your welcome to bring your own items as well.
✨ What to Expect:
- An introduction to the technique of cyanotype
- Guided instruction on coating, exposing, and developing prints
- Access to a curated selection of natural specimens (or bring your own flat items to experiment with!)
🎟️ All materials are included – just bring your creativity! No prior experience necessary.
