This workshop is your gateway to an uplifting experience full of movement culture and connection.In 90 energizing minutes you’ll be introduced to Cumbia—a vibrant and expressive dance that originated on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Blending African Indigenous and Spanish influences Cumbia is more than just a rhythm—it’s a cultural heartbeat that invites joy flow and freedom.
It’s also one of the core rhythms of Zumba making this the perfect workshop for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of Latin dance foundations.

Meet your teacher:
Gregorio alias Goyo is a Colombian-born musician and dancer who has lived in Sweden for over 35 years. A proud representative of Afro-Colombian and migrant communities in Stockholm Goyo brings authenticity energy and a deep love for Latin music and dance. He believes in the power of rhythm to connect people and uplift the spirit.
