Do you find herbal medicine confusing? Would you like to know more and be able to start using herbs and plant medicines in a coherent way? This is a great starter class for you. We’ll be discussing the basics of herbal medicines, starting with the hierarchy of plants, learning basic categories of herbs, herbal actions and looking at the basis of herbal health – nutritive herbs! We’ll be discussing oatstraw, nettles, and other food-herbs that can be used liberally and often.
Herbal medicine is traditional and the most widely used medicine across the globe today and across time. Plants can be amazing allies medicinally, nutritionally and spiritually.
Bring a notebook for notes and your general questions about medicinal plants.
Deb Fate-Mental is a shamanic practitioner, herbalist and cunning woman. She has been in practice for over a decade.
