About this Event


One of our Hive76 members will be teaching members to use Vcarve Pro with our Axiom Pro V5 CNC Router.
Mike will be teaching us to us the software to convert 2D Vector files into gcode for the CNC.

  • Basics of CNC machine
  • Specifications of our machine
  • Maintenance and safety
  • Machine parameters and capabilities
  • Understanding Vcarve and how it creates toolpaths
  • Understanding terminology such as feed/speed rates, plunge, and rpm
  • Overview of types of cutting tools
