Intro to CLO - NYC In-Person 2 Part Workshop

Hello CLO Users!

Whether you're new to CLO or looking for a refresher, we’re excited to invite you to our onsite Two-Part Intro to CLO Training Workshop. This workshop spans six days (3 days per part), with 4 hours each day, totaling 24 hours of immersive training focused on the fundamentals of apparel construction and located in our NYC Office.

Led by expert designers, you’ll gain all the foundational skills needed to confidently navigate CLO, including how to prep, sew, color, and style garments. Designed for both individuals and freelancers eager to explore CLO, this workshop also offers a fantastic opportunity to connect and network with fellow professionals in the 3D and Fashion Design Community.

PART 1

• January 15th 10am-3pm (1 hour for lunch each day)
• January 16th 10am-3pm
• January 17th 10am-3pm

Part 1 will cover all the basics like Navigation, Sewing, Basic 3D Principals and Workflows to get you started in CLO.

PART 2

• February 12th 10am-3pm (1 hour for lunch each day)
• February 13th 10am-3pm
• February 14th 10am-3pm

Part 2 will lead into more Intermediate level CLO skills with more complex apparel styles and CLO tools.

Post training you will receive a Certificate of Participation which you can use to show that you have attended an official CLO workshop. Please note that in order to receive this you must attend all days.

IMPORTANT

We do understand that not all participants will be able to attend both parts. You may choose to only purchase a tickets for Part 1. Any remaining seats for Part 2 will be released at a later date to users who already know CLO Foundational Skills.

***The workshop sessions are NOT recorded and cannot be shared outside of the scheduled workshop

***If you are an Enterprise client please reach out to your CLO representative directly for training otherwise you may be removed from the workshop.

***The workshop will be taught in English and hosted in NYC. If you are not located in the NYC area, please check our social media channels for training options more befitting of your respective location.

An active workstation (to use CLO):

• A laptop with CLO installed (System Requirements can be found ).
• Laptop charge cord
• 3-button mouse (no Apple Magic Mice or Wacom Tablets, please)

Prior to the start of training:

• You will receive an email with links for training files
• Download the training files to your computer and Unzip them to a folder on your desktop
• Make sure you have downloaded and installed CLO

***[you can download the free 14 day trial if you do not currently have a CLO subscription - we do not provide licenses for the training]

Training Arrival:

• CLO trainers will arrive to the classroom 30 minutes prior to training each day to assist with questions or set-up. Please arrive a few minutes prior to the start of training as we will begin promptly at 10 each day.

During the Training

• There will be a 1 hour lunch break each day (CLO will not be providing lunch)
• CLO will be providing coffee, drinks, and snacks
• Be mindful of each participants time when asking questions
• Please note the entire training will be held in English

This workshop will be limited to 15 people to ensure personalized learning experience.
