OverviewThis isn't just a workshop; it's a creative retreat. We are taking a full day to get out of our heads and into our hands. We will explore the three pillars of hand-building clay in a relaxed, zero-pressure environment. No kilns, no waiting - just you, the earth, and plenty of time to experiment.
What You’ll Master:
Pinching: The oldest method of shaping clay into organic vessels.
Coiling: Building up walls to create pots, vases, or jars.
Slab Building: Rolling and cutting for geometric or structured shapes.
Walk away with 3 unique pieces to dry and paint at home.
Who It’s For:
ADHDers, creatives, and anyone who just want a great, hands-on break for their restless mind.
Tactile seekers who don't mind getting a little messy.
Total beginners - People who have always wanted to try pottery but felt intimidated by the wheel.
Format & Duration:
5.5 hours - with plenty of breaks!
Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch! We’ll provide the tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep you fuelled.
