Intro. to Brewing Kombucha

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at brewing kombucha at home, but aren’t sure where to begin? Please join us for this exciting beginner’s kombucha brewing class!
Co-owners/Founders Matt & Mark of Kowabucha Kombucha (@kowabucha.kombucha), based in Rochester, MN, will join us at BCC, in the Community Room, to teach a class on the thrilling art of brewing Kombucha. As part of the experience, each student will brew and take home 1 gallon of kombucha, along with the materials to continue brewing on their own.
Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Location: BCC's Community Room
Cost: $10 per non-member student. Free to member-owners.
(Admission to this class is FREE for any co-op member-owner as part of BCC’s ‘Owner Appreciation Week’)
Co-owners/Co-Founders Matt & Mark (@kowabucha.kombucha) are volunteering their talent and time to teach this class. The class fee covers the cost of ingredients and project materials.
