Dancing on your bucket list?Have you ever watched a couple glide across a dance floor with effortless connection and thought, "I wish I could do that"? Whether it’s been on your bucket list for years or you’re just looking for a soulful way to stay active this summer, this is your invitation.
Stop Watching, Start Dancing
Blues isn't about memorizing complex steps; it’s about rhythm, heart, and the simple joy of moving with another person. By the end of this hour, you won't just have "moves"—you’ll have the confidence to say "yes" to a dance and the competence to actually enjoy it.
Workshop Structure:
No Partner Required: We rotate throughout the class so you’ll meet everyone. No prior experience needed.
Choose Your Role: I welcome followers who want to learn to lead and leaders who want to learn to follow.

Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Empire Grange
Cost: $10 at the door
Experience: None required. If you can walk, you can Blues.
Stick around for the Blues practice dance at 7:00
If you are an experienced blues dancer, we are leading an advanced-beginner workshop at 6:00. Topic: "Unique turns and connecting to the music". DM me direct for details.
About the Instructor:
Kevin Kim has been teaching entry-level Blues for over 10 years across Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. He is a baby boomer and a dedicated advocate for the local live Blues scene, believing the best way to honor the musicians is to keep the dance floor moving.
