About this Event

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON WORKSHOP

"Intro to Beekeeping" will give you the basic knowledge to get started with your beekeeping hobby or business. You will learn about the components of a hive, how a bee colony lives, how to use beekeeping tools and protective gear, and how to acquire and manage your own bee colonies. (No live bees used during this class. You are welcome to attend our future hands-on field days in apiaries at no cost in the future.) Please attend a free "Beekeeping: Is it for me?" class before attending this workshop. Registration includes lunch.

For additional registration options, contact Jessica Sullivan: [email protected], 321-697-3000.

Persons with accessibility requests - please contact UF IFAS Extension in Osceola County at least 7 working days in advance of the program so we may give proper consideration to your request.
