Intro to animal care course

This short course is all about helping young people build confidence by spending time with animals in a safe, friendly environment. Learners will get hands-on experience meeting different animals, understanding their behaviour, and learning the simple daily care routines they need to stay healthy and happy.

Activities include gentle handling, feeding, grooming, and spotting signs of how an animal is feeling. The aim isn’t to become an expert — it’s to enjoy the experience, grow confidence, and learn the basics of caring for living creatures with kindness and respect
