Intro to Aikido (Japanese Martial Art)

Chicago Aikikai extends an open invitation to anyone interested in trying out the Japanese martial art of aikido. Please step on the mat for a class specifically tailored to the aikido newcomer. We'll introduce you to some of our basic techniques and exercises and give you an opportunity to learn a little about our community.

Please arrive about 15 minutes before class to introduce yourself to the instructor and fill out a waiver. Wear comfortable clothes suitable for movement, rolling and falling. Walk-ins welcome. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].
