Intro to Acting Class (5 Weeks) - San Diego

Through fun improvisational exercises and games, this class teaches the foundations of the craft of acting: active listening, objectives, movement, and connection.

Each student will also work on a monologue and a scene. This class is great for the beginner who has little to no acting experience, or for those who wish to get back in shape by revisiting the fundamentals of acting!

$225 for the five week class.

Amanda and Art Hennessey have been teaching acting for over 20 years at universities and their own studio. They have acted on stage, in film and tv and have acted in, written, produced and directed short films that have played at film festivals nationwide.

This is a beginner class for anybody curious about the craft of acting or looking to expand their creativity and build their confidence!

PARKING: There is plenty of parking in the lot of the building.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: 8885 Rio San Diego Drive is accessible by public transportation. It is about a 6 minute walk from the Rio Vista Station on the Green Line.

If you cannot attend the class, you must notify us at least 72 hours before the first class in order to receive a refund.
