Intrepid After Hours: Women Astronauts

Join fellow current and former service members to learn about the first U.S. women astronauts in the temporary exhibit Women Astronauts of the Space Shuttle Era. Enjoy a performance of , about champion aviator Betty Skelton, who was the first woman to undergo the physical and psychological tests of NASA’s Mercury 7 astronauts, opening the door to future opportunities for women. Then, continue the conversation over a catered dinner.

Can I bring a civilian guest?

Intrepid After Hours is for current and former service members only. The only exception is for personal care assistants in support of participants with disabilities. The Museum offers a number of other programs for veterans and their loved ones. Please visit intrepidmuseum.org/vets for information about upcoming programs.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, but if you can bring a paper or digital copy of your ticket it expedites the check-in process!
