Richmond Operatic Society is delighted to launch our 2026 show, Sondheim’s acclaimed musical ‘Into the Woods’

Where: Richmond Operatics Hall, 53 Bargate
What time: 7.30pm
Combining some of the world’s best-loved fairy tale characters with a witty, moving and unforgettable story, this modern musical masterpiece follows Cinderella, Jack, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, a Witch and many more as their wishes collide in unexpected ways.
Featuring one of the most celebrated scores in musical theatre, ‘Into the Woods’ offers outstanding opportunities for singers, actors and tree-movers of all ages from 16+.
We will bring this enchanting, funny and thought-provoking production to life at the historic Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond, from 10th - 14th November 2026, including a Saturday matinee.
Whether you’re seeking a featured character, a place within the ensemble or to support in a backstage capacity, there’s a path waiting for you in the woods!
