"Into the Woods" is a stage musical where a childless baker and his wife embark on a journey through the woods to break a witch's curse that prevents them from having children, encountering other well-known fairy tale characters like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel along the way, as they all strive to fulfill their deepest desires, but ultimately face the consequences of their actions when their wishes come true with disastrous results; the story explores themes of responsibility, the complexities of wishes, and the dark side of fairy tales.
