The Mid-Pacific School of the Arts is thrilled to present Into the Woods, a witty, heartfelt, and hauntingly relevant musical by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim. With its Tony Award-winning score and book, this modern classic explores what happens after “happily ever after.” The story follows a Baker and his Wife desperate to break a Witch’s curse, Cinderella yearning to attend the King's Festival, and Jack hoping his cow will finally give milk. As their wishes come true, the consequences unfold in unexpected—and often darkly comic—ways. A rich blend of humor, fantasy, and emotional depth, Into the Woods offers a thrilling experience for audiences and an imaginative playground for performers and designers alike.
**Please note: Into the Woods is considered appropriate for ages 10+ due to some dark themes and theatrical moments that may be intense for younger audiences.
