Into the Woods Auditions

James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. One of Sondheim's most popular works, Into the Woods is a musically sophisticated show with the opportunity to feature actors adept at dark comedy. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Age Requirement:
- All auditioners must be aged 16 years or older by the performance date.
Audition Details:
- Auditioners should prepare 16-32 bars (60-90 seconds) of a song from the show for the character they’re auditioning for.
- Auditioners may be asked to complete a cold read at their audition.
Rehearsals/Show Date:
- A rough draft of the schedule will be posted on our Facebook event page.
- Weekday rehearsals ~ Tuesdays (6-9), Thursdays (6-9)
- Weekend rehearsals ~ Sundays (2-5), Saturdays (4-8, not every week)
- Show Night ~ December 18 7 PM
- Show Night ~ December 19 7 PM
- Show Night ~ December 20 2 PM
