About this Event

Join us at the Lott House for a children’s program about foraging in our backyard with Aly Stoffo, the Glam Gardener NYC! Aly will guide the children around the ¾ acres of the Lott House to learn about the many wild edible plants that grow right in our backyard! After foraging, the group will dive into a wildcrafting activity and make their own fall-inspired broom wreath with the plants they harvested!

This is a free event and requires registration. As a gentle reminder, this workshop is intended exclusively for children, and adults' participation is limited to chaperoning roles only. Please only register for the amount of children participating in this workshop.

Aly Stoffo is a wild-foods forager, outdoor and sustainability educator, herbal product maker, and owner of Glam Gardener NYC: a business offering healing herbal products, art, and eco-education. Aly has a background and education in Sustainability Solutions from Arizona State University. She can identify over 200 regional wild-growing edible and medicinal plants.

This event is supported by public funds from the NYS Office of Family Services in partnership with Assemblymember Jamie Williams.
