Ever wondered what treasures lie behind closed doors at the Museum? Now’s your chance to step off the public path and find out!
Join this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour to see some of the hidden gems, rare specimens, and fascinating artefacts housed in our natural science and humanities collections.
There'll be plenty of time to ask questions and engage with our Collections team as they show you through the Museum's basement stores.
Tour numbers are extremely limited, so please book early to secure your spot!
Tour length: 1 hour
Suitable for ages 10 and over; children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
No personal belongings can be taken into the collections storerooms (lockers will be provided).
10am, 11am & 1pm, Monday 22 September
