Some of the most meaningful moments happen at a flour-dusted counter, side by side, hands in dough, nowhere else to be.

SOF mothers and Teen/ Tween children are invited to join The Station Foundation for a warm, unhurried morning of baking and genuine connection built around the simple, satisfying art of making sourdough cinnamon rolls from scratch.

Sourdough asks you to slow down, pay attention, and trust the process. For SOF families who live with constant change and uncertainty, there's real relief in something this grounded. No screens. No schedules. Just you and your child, creating something from scratch.

No experience needed. Our facilitator will guide every step, keeping the morning relaxed, playful, and focused on connection over perfection.

Event Details: July 28, 2026

• 9:00 – 9:15 AM Arrival & Welcome
• 9:15 – 10:45 AM Guided Baking Experience
• 10:45 – 11:30 AM Enjoy Your Rolls, Reflection & Conversation
• 11:30 AM End of Event

What to Expect:

• All ingredients and baking supplies are provided
• Aprons - we will provide aprons for the event
• Light refreshments will be available
• Printed recipe card to recreate the tradition at home

Comfortable clothing recommended, baking is a full-contact sport.

New to Interwoven? Our OutStation Facilitator, Teah Fagins, will reach out personally to share our mission and confirm Special Forces affiliation before the event.

Additionally, please note that childcare is not available for this event, and children younger than 11 years old may not attend. Thank you for respecting this policy, as it ensures a space free of distractions for the attendees.
