About this Event
Interwoven: Tending the Garden and Cultivating Connection
Special Operations Forces families are invited to join The Station Foundation at Trails of Purpose for a meaningful family garden experience focused on gratitude and strength spotting. Families will work together to plant seeds while exploring the unique strengths that help each member grow, such as kindness, bravery, creativity, and perseverance. Through guided conversation and hands-on gardening, participants will share things they are thankful for and recognize positive qualities in themselves and one another. As seeds are planted and watered, families will create a living reminder that, just like a garden, people flourish when they nurture their strengths, practice gratitude, and support those around them.
This 2-hour experience at the farm also includes time to explore the property, meet and greet the therapy herd, and enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and the peaceful farm environment. Designed for families with young children (ages 4-10), this engaging activity offers a fun and memorable way to build connection, resilience, and appreciation together.

- All ages are welcome, but this program is most appropriate for ages 4-10.
- Please wear closed toe shoes.
- Please bring sunscreen and bug spray.
- Water and snacks will be provided.
This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 8 families. We kindly request a cancellation notice no less than 72 hours prior to the event. Thank you for your consideration. If you need to cancel text or call Chrissi Wilson at (406) 498-4670.
