Interwoven: Morning Yin Yoga
Special Operation Forces Spouses are invited to join The Station Foundation for a morning of Yin Yoga. The practice of Yin holds poses for longer periods of time than other forms of yoga and requires focused breathing to settle into these long holds. Yin helps to build emotional awareness in the body as well as resilience and perseverance. This practice is generally made up of floor poses and targets your connective tissue and fascia. It is a wonderful complement to traditional exercise and your other yoga practices. Yin leaves you feeling stretched and relaxed.
<h4>New to Interwoven events with The Station? Welcome! Please note that our Director of Outreach, Jamie Dockiewicz, will be in contact with you to share our mission and confirm your Special Operations Forces affiliation.</h4>
9:00 - 9:15 AM: Arrival and Check In
9:15 - 10:30 AM: Yin Yoga
10:30 - 10:45 AM: Connection and Refreshments
Event Details:
- Yoga mats will be provided; however, you are welcome to bring your own.
- Bring a water bottle.
- No experience is necessary.
- All materials will be provided.
Please invite a friend within the Special Operations Community who is new to The Station.
When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in entirety. Incomplete order forms will be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding and helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.
