Interwoven : Mommy and Me Zen Pig Yoga and Kids' Book Club

Special Operations Forces Families are invited to join The Station Foundation for another thoughtful lesson with our trusted friend, Zen Pig. Families will discuss mindfulness, noticing both the simplicity and the power of one’s breath as an ever-present tool, stretch together, and discover how these mindfulness practices can help us throughout each day.

In book volume #5, Here to Do, written by Mark Brown, Zen Pig helps friends understand what life is really about at a Career Day at school event. Kids will learn that a job is a vehicle you put yourself into. While choosing a career is important, focus your life even more on who you are. Remember, you are a light and meant to shine like a star, so be brave. Learn to trust yourself and your purpose, while sharing love with those you hold dear.

Each family will be supplied with a copy of Here to Do to take home and continue the discussion.

• Children must be 4 (four years old ) or older to participate
• You are welcome to bring a yoga mat if you have one ( yoga mats are available at the studio)
• Bring a water bottle.
• No experience is necessary.

Additionally, please note that childcare is not available for this event, and children under the age of 4 (four) may not attend. Thank you for respecting this policy, as it ensures a space free of distractions for the attendees.
