Interwoven: Mommy and Me Zen Pig Feelings Are Clouds
Special Operation Forces Families are invited to join The Station Foundation for another thoughtful lesson with our trusted friend, Zen Pig. Families will discuss mindfulness, notice both the simplicity and also the power of one’s breath as an ever-present tool, stretch together, and discover how these mindfulness practices can help us throughout each and every day.
In book volume #6, Feelings Are Clouds, written by Mark Brown, Zen Pig takes us through adventures of helping children reach their full potential by giving them practical lessons of inner peace, gratitude, compassion, acceptance, and happiness. Zen Pig teaches young readers that emotions are temporary, and we have the power to regulate our response rather than feel overwhelmed by emotions. Each family will be supplied with a copy of Feelings Are Clouds to take home and continue the discussion.

1:45 - 2:00 PM: Arrival and Check In
2:00 - 3:00 PM: Breathwork, Yoga, and Zen Pig
3:00 - 3:30 PM: Connection and Refreshments
Children must be 4 (four years old )or older to participate
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.
Bring a water bottle.
No experience is necessary.
Additionally, please note that childcare is not available for this event, and children under the age of 4 ( four) may not attend. Thank you for respecting this policy as it ensures a space free of distractions for the attendees.
