Interwoven: Patriot Hawk Forging Workshop for Service Members
A Day of Stillness and Steel for Special Operations Forces Service Members
Special Operations Forces Service Members are invited to step away from the demands of mission, training, and responsibility for a day at the forge with The Station Foundation.
Working with fire and steel requires something many of us rarely allow ourselves - slowing down. Every strike demands intention. Every movement asks for presence. Every pause matters. Together, we'll explore the craft of blacksmithing while creating a Patriot Hawk from American-made 4140 steel, featuring a blade on one side and your choice of a spike or hammer on the other. More than learning a new skill, this experience is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself through focused, hands-on work that naturally quiets the noise of everyday life.
There is always another task, another obligation, another reason to keep moving. Rarely do we permit ourselves to simply be present. Around the forge, something changes. The rhythm of the hammer, the warmth of the fire, and the focus required to shape steel invite us to slow down, breathe deeply, and notice what we've been carrying. In that space, clarity often replaces mental clutter, tension begins to ease, and we leave feeling more grounded than when we arrived.
No experience is necessary, only a willingness to slow down, create something with your hands, and invest in yourself for a few hours.
Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is pause.

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Forging Workshop and Lunch
Event Details:
- Come dressed in work clothes. The workshop has both indoor and outdoor work areas.
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- No experience is necessary.
- Lunch will be provided.
- This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 10 people.
- We kindly request a cancellation notice no less than 72 hours before the event. Thank you for your consideration.
- This is an alcohol-free event. Thank you for your cooperation.
Additionally, please note that childcare is not available for this event, and children may not attend. Thank you for respecting this policy, as it ensures a space free of distractions for the attendees.

When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in entirety. Incomplete order forms will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.
