SOF Mothers & Children | A Day on the Lake with The Station Foundation
Military life asks a lot of SOF families. This is a day designed to give something back.
SOF mothers and their children of all ages are invited to join The Station Foundation for a relaxed day at Prospect Lake - a space to slow down, unplug, and enjoy meaningful time together in nature. No agenda, no pressure. Just good company, fresh air, and the quiet that comes from being near the water.
What to Expect
Families are welcome to paddleboard, kayak, or canoe, or spend time at the shoreline with younger children. Whether you're out on the water or simply sitting in the sun watching your kids play, this day is yours to enjoy however feels right. Come as you are.
Schedule
9:45 – 10:00 AM Arrival & Welcome
10:00 – 12:00 AM Lake activities & connection time
12:00 – 12:30 PM Lunch, closing reflection & informal conversation
What's Provided
- Paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes
- Light lunch, snacks, water and drinks will be provided
- Life jackets available for all ages
- Bring a pickink blanket to sit on.
Comfortable clothing / bathing suits / towels and sunscreen are recommended.
New to Interwoven? Our OutStation facilitator, Teah Fagins, will personally reach out to welcome you, share more about our mission, and confirm Special Forces affiliation before the event.
Registration & Cancellations Please complete all registration fields in full, this helps us keep the space safe and welcoming for every family. If your plans change, we ask for at least 72 hours notice so we can offer your spot to another family on the waitlist.
When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in their entirety. Incomplete order forms will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.
