Interwoven - Felted Creatures
Special Operations Forces Spouses are invited to join The Station Foundation for an evening of creativity and community. In this engaging class, you will learn everything you need to know to create beautiful needle-felted creatures. A penguin? Gnome? Sasquatch? There are limitless possibilities. Your mini-masterpieces can be created in time for holiday gifting or transformed into ornaments. Learn how to blend and layer fiber to create new, exciting colors. Felting with wool is an accessible, forgiving, and beautiful art form. It’s an easy (and amazingly portable) craft to jump into. Learn strategies to check your work and identify opportunities for improvement. Fall in love with the sculptural quality of this wonderful and relaxing art form. It’s a remarkable go-to for unwinding at any point of the day when you need to step away from daily stressors and focus on mindfulness and self-care.
We are all creative in some way. We all have something we can share and offer to the world. Putting your ideas or your actual physical products into the world is a creative act that we tend to leave behind in our youth. Return to your roots and remember your unique, expressive style while experiencing the joy of inspiration, the meditative calmness of a hand-building craft, and the thrill of seeing your final product.

What to Expect:
The class instructor Jenn Milliron will be prepared with many beautiful creation options for you to choose from to make the piece uniquely yours.
- Come in comfortable "play clothes".
- Bring your inspiration and come prepared to create.
- No prior experience is required, and all materials are provided.
Additionally, please note that childcare is not available for this event, and children may not attend. Thank you for respecting this policy as it ensures a space free of distractions for the attendees.
Please invite a friend within the Special Operations Community who is new to The Station Foundation to join the fun and learn mindful practices to improve self-care.
