Et en son cœur bat l'une des plus extraordinaires musiques de film jamais composées.
Signée Hans Zimmer — lauréat d'un Oscar, trois fois Golden Globe et cinq fois Grammy —, la musique d'Interstellar a été nommée aux Oscars et est devenue un phénomène bien au-delà du cinéma. Construite autour du son majestueux d'un orgue à tuyaux, enregistré dans une église londonienne, elle unit le spirituel et le cosmique en une musique d'une puissance saisissante. Dans ce concert, les compositions de Zimmer sont réimaginées pour un ensemble rare d'instruments acoustiques — tantôt intimes, tantôt vastes et enveloppants.

Le concert est présenté par l'agence créative Red Events & Distribution Ltd, qui réalise des événements culturels d'exception dans des demeures anciennes, sur des toits, dans des serres et dans d'autres lieux parmi les plus envoûtants d'Europe, de Grande-Bretagne, d'Azerbaïdjan, de Géorgie et d'autres pays. Le répertoire comprend également une collection de concerts à la lueur des bougies et en immersion totale dans l'espace de l'art vidéo et du son.

Op 25 september brengt het ensemble La Chapelle Sauvage met trots de buitengewone muziek van Interstellar tot leven in de Salle académique van de Universiteit van Luik, naast andere iconische werken van Hans Zimmer en Ludovico Einaudi.
De moderne klassieker van Christopher Nolan vertelt over de mensheid die naar het onbekende reikt — over tijd die door zwarte gaten wordt gebogen, over een vader en dochter gescheiden door sterrenstelsels, over hoop die door één onwrikbare band wordt samengehouden. En in het hart ervan klopt een van de meest buitengewone filmscores ooit geschreven.
Gecomponeerd door Hans Zimmer — Oscarwinnaar, drievoudig Golden Globe- en vijfvoudig Grammywinnaar — werd de score van Interstellar genomineerd voor een Oscar en groeide ze uit tot een fenomeen ver buiten de bioscoop. Befaamd opgebouwd rond de imposante klank van een pijporgel, opgenomen in een Londense kerk, versmelt ze het spirituele en het kosmische tot muziek van overweldigende kracht. In dit concert worden Zimmers composities herdacht voor een zeldzaam ensemble van akoestische instrumenten — het ene moment intiem, het volgende weids en omhullend.
Meer dan een concert is het een meeslepende reis: golvende klanken, glinsterende texturen en weidse, resonerende sonoriteiten, die het publiek meevoeren van stille verwondering tot de aantrekkingskracht van een zwart gat. Christopher Nolan's modern classic is a story of humanity reaching into the unknown — of time bent by black holes, of a father and daughter separated by galaxies, of hope held together by a single, unshakeable bond. And at its heart beats one of the most extraordinary film scores ever written.
Composed by Hans Zimmer — an Academy Award winner, three-time Golden Globe and five-time Grammy winner — the Interstellar score earned an Academy Award nomination and became a phenomenon far beyond the cinema. Famously built around the towering sound of a pipe organ, recorded in a London church, it fuses the spiritual and the cosmic into music of overwhelming power. In this concert, Zimmer's compositions are reimagined for a rare ensemble of acoustic instruments — intimate one moment, vast and enveloping the next.
More than a concert, it is an immersive journey: rolling waves of sound, shimmering textures and vast resonant sonorities, carrying the audience from quiet wonder to the pull of a black hole. The magic of the evening is born from the dialogue between the musicians, the architecture around them, light and sound itself.
