About this Event
Come connect with other climbers and share some beta over the campfire. Hear from the Access Fund, American Alpine Club, Minnesota Climbers Association, and Wisconsin Climbers. Give back to your local crag by participating in stewardship opportunities. S'mores and breakfast provided!
Join us for a clean-up, a day, or the whole weekend.
Limited camping available at the Wisconsin Interstate State Park West Pines Group Campground.
Schedule of Events:
Basecamp is at the Pines Group Campsite at Wisconsin Interstate State Park. Meet here for breakfast, stewardship events, camping, and presentations.
Friday (Check-in 3:00 pm or later)
- Climb on your own or with new friends (we will not be supplying gear or guides)!
- S'mores and campfire chatter at sunset
Saturday
- Breakfast (7-9 am)
- Free time to climb (9 am - 4 pm)- on your own or with new friends (we will not be supplying gear or guides)!
- Stewardship event: clean-up on the Minnesota side (4-6 pm)
- Presentations, campfire, and s'mores afterwards!
Sunday
- Breakfast (7-9 am)
- Stewardship event: clean-up on the Wisconsin side (9-11 am)
- Free time to climb (11 am - 3 pm)- on your own or with new friends (we will not be supplying gear or guides)!
- Checkout of the campground is at 3 pm, but you can stay to climb as long as you want!
What to bring:
Lunch and dinner are on your own. Bring food or plan to drive into town to eat.
If camping, bring your own tent/shelter, sleeping gear, etc. Also bring a camp stove if you plan to make dinner that requires cooking!
For clean-up events:
- Static rope
- Ascenders
- Gloves (we will have some for those who need them)
- Extra garbage bags

The Wisconsin Climbers Association is a collective group of advocates whose mission is to serve as a voice for Wisconsin climbers. We also partner with Access Fund serving as a local climbing organization for the state of Wisconsin.
