Welcome to the Intersections Media Graduate Film Screening & Fundraiser! Join us at The ANZA Club for a night of cinematic magic and support our talented media graduates. Get ready to be amazed by the creative works of our students and help us raise funds for future projects.We will be screening 6 short films produced by 3 different cohorts.
Bruised Heart: (6:24) a young woman runs out of a church in her wedding dress, leaving behind the guests. What could possibly the reason for abandoning what should be the happiest day of her life?
Au Pair: (9:54) A man arrives at a mysterious trendy restaurant to go on a date, but the bizarre service he encounters leads him to suspect there may be more on tonight’s menu than he has bargained for.
Late and Unemployed: (8:04) Claire is searching a job - if only her roommate, relatives and family friends would get out of her way, she might stand a chance.
Tell Me When You Get There: (5:33) A beautifully quirky look at a slice of 2 young girls lives.
Dark Room: (5:00) five strangers wake up in a dark room, with the secret killer slowly killing everyone one by one.
Gabey: (7:00) Cringe comedy about a babysitter, taking on a new job, only to realize that the baby she's caring for may actually be a full grown adult?

Intersections Media Opportunities for Youth Society, a non- profit charitable organization, delivers the Intersections Digital Media Workshop to barriered, marginalized and underrepresented youth. Intersections Digital Media Workshop is a vital initiative that provides the essential skills, software training, industry certifications, on-location film making and mentorship opportunities with professionals to pursue entry-level employment in the film and digital media industry.
Through the Intersections Digital Media Workshop, we help build a more inclusive, diverse, and representative creative workforce in British Columbia. This mission directly addresses the systemic barriers to ensure this opportunity is based on potential, not background.
