Intersections Concert Series Presents The BSide Players

The BSide Players are one of the San Diego region’s most influential bands, having spent the past 30 years touring and defining the sound of the U.S.-Mexico border. The 9-piece group plays the multifaceted grooves of Latin America and the Caribbean, incorporating the sounds of Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico and Brazil with the funk, rock, jazz and hip-hop rhythms of their homeland, dropping bits of Cumbia, Salsa, gritty street Samba, Son Montuno, Jarocho and Boogalo into the mix.

Damian DeRobbio will host and conduct a Q&A with the group after their performance.
