About this Event
Thank you for all the hard work you have done so far providing services to Safety Net participants. Abt Global and the United Way are excited to invite you to a one-day training focused on Intersectionality and Cultural Humility, designed specifically for you. This training will provide you with essential tools and strategies to improve the way you support participants with diverse and overlapping identities, including race, gender, class particularly in relation to the transition to permanent housing. In addition, an opportunity to gather with other Safety Net Providers to uplift your important work.
Why Attend? As providers, you work with participants whose lives are shaped by complex, intersecting challenges. By understanding and applying the principles of intersectionality and cultural humility, you can offer more inclusive, respectful, and effective support and work with participants to ensure safe exits fromyour program.
