Interregional Collaboration for a Circular Built Environment

The construction of buildings and infrastructure and the planning of the built environment have a significant influence on the environment and climate. Local initiatives demonstrate the powerful effects of entrepreneurship and proximity in catalyzing grassroots change. At the same time, fostering collaboration between local and regional initiatives can help to increase impact and inspire others. How can local initiatives play a role in the global transition to a circular economy? Holland Circular Hotspot, together with the Nordic Circular Hotspot, are organizing an acceleration session on the circular built environment to explore local solutions and interregional collaboration to promote circularity in the construction sector.

This event is an Accelerator Session at the World Circular Economy Forum 2023 (www.WCEF2023.com). WCEF2023 will gather together forward-looking thinkers and doers and present the game-changers in the circular economy. The Forum will be held from 30 May to 2 June in Helsinki, Finland. WCEF2023 is co-organised by Nordic Innovation and the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, with international partners. Free of charge, open to all online.
