INTERPRETATIONS is a cross-disciplinary artistic and musical experience through a live collaboration between local Canberra artist Thiago Claus (@thiagodclaus_art) and Meanjin/Brisbane experimental/noise rock C (@cccccband).

The event will be supported by other local artists including Evy Stuart, Isabella Hiscutt with more to be announced! Their artworks will expand on the theme of interpretations and highlight how we as artists, hope that an audience not only interprets our artworks as intended but that the viewers feelings and emotions in that contextual moment, expand on the original meaning and creates a new personal intepretation and connection between the artwork , the artist's intentions, and the viewer.
During the event, C will perform a fully improvised set while the artist, Thiago creates a live visual artistic interpretation of the music; as an example of the process of interpretating different artistic mediums.
C’s soundscape will be recorded and published on streaming services such as Bandcamp and Thiago's artwork will become the album cover art.
