International Women’s Day gives us all an opportunity to call for change, and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played extraordinary roles in the history of their countries and communities.
Back by popular demand, Rachael Grace will perform her stunning tribute to Barbra Streisand, accompanied on piano by the acclaimed musical director John Thorn.
Relive the magic of Streisand’s timeless hits from iconic films, musicals, and chart-topping records, including classics from Funny Girl, The Way We Were, A Star is Born, and much more.
Artist, entertainer and pioneer, Barbra Streisand broke many twentieth century moulds, including holding out for creative control of her recording career from the age of 21. In 2013, as a tribute to her place in a male-dominated Hollywood, Streisand received the Charlie Chaplin Award for Lifetime Achievement as the only female artist to direct, write, produce and star in the same major studio film, Yentl.
