Women in Mining Sudbury invites you to celebrate International Women’s Day with an evening of Mentorship in Action.

This year’s event is centered on a simple but powerful idea, Give to Gain. The 2026 IWD theme encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration, emphasizing the power of reciprocity and support.

Rather than a traditional networking event, we will curate a structured and welcoming space to:

• Ask honest career questions in a comfortable environment
• Learn from real industry experiences
• Build confidence navigating the mining sector
• Make lasting professional connections
• Support and uplift others in the industry

Whether you are just entering the industry, exploring career paths, an early career professional transitioning into mining, or are a seasoned professional looking to make new connections and continue expanding relationships with your peers, this event is designed for you. No prior networking experience is needed. Curiosity and conversation are all you have to bring!

We believe mentorship is not one-directional: everyone has something to contribute, and everyone has something to gain.
