HOW TO PERFORM IN THE OPEN MIC: Book yourself an ‘Open Mic Performer Ticket’. Each poet will have a maximum of 4 minutes to perform. We welcome poets of all gender identities to join the open mic, however, if you don't identify as a woman, please ensure that your poem fits the theme of International Women's Day.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality through shining a light on persistent issues like gender-based violence and unequal access to education and opportunities. It aims to mobilize action for equality through encouraging individuals, communities, and organisations to take steps toward creating a more inclusive and equitable world for women.
ACCESSIBILITY: The Fountainhead is step-free throughout with a ramp to an accessible toilet. Please note, the front door has a small ledge upon entry.
