CHILDREN FREE (18 & Under) with purchased Adult or Concession TicketsAfter last years sold out success at Auckland Museum, join AOTANGO quintet for an evening celebrating the tango. Presented in two parts, the evening will open with a concert programme of tango and world music and conclude with a milonga, open for dancers to dance tandas (sets) of tangos, milongas & waltzes.
AOTANGO features violinist Andrew Beer (APO Concertmaster), pianist Somi Kim (NZTrio), double bassist Gordon Hill (APO Section Principal), jazz guitarist Sam Swindells and award-winning accordionist Grayson Masefield.
Alongside the performances, we’ll have a variety of food from Latin American vendors and a range of drinks served by JJBars, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, available throughout the event.
