The International Samba Congress Europe 2024 is back in Munich from June 28 to 30, 2024, at the Technikum, Werksviertel. Following its successful debut in September 2019 at Gasteig and Werksviertel, this 3-day event promises an energetic celebration of Brazilian culture, music and dance.Attendees can join a variety of samba workshops led by renowned Brazilian dancers and choreographers from Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo carnival. Instructors include Thai Rodrigues, Mayara Santos, Luara Bombom, Carlinhos Salgueiro, Gustavo Siqueira, amonth others.
Percussion workshops, led by the esteemed mestres de bateria from Salgueiro Samba School, offer an immersive experience in Brazilian carnival percussion.
The Congress will also feature evening events and an after party with DJs, music concerts, special performances, a dance competition, and an art exhibition by Alfabeto do Samba. Guests can engage with renowned carnavalesco Milton Cunha, who will deliver a lecture & talks on the cultural heritage of carnival.
