About this Event

International Nanny Training Day is held to recognize the needs of young children and to raise awareness of the positive correlation between caregiver training and quality care.
This international initiative is part of Week of the Young Child, an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
On Saturday, April 12th, nannies and caregivers from all over the globe will gather both virtually and in person to be supported and be inspired by experts in their field.
Join us for a this conference that is open to the public, for a day of workshops with the newest information and knowledge and meet others with the same passions!
Breakfast and lunch are included in ticket price. We will reach out to all attendees for allergies or dietary restrictions.
We aim for a "learn today, use tomorrow" approach, so you can apply your newly learned or updated knowledge to your day to day routines.

"Hello! My name is Samantha Dominguez, but all the wonderful little children I have worked with know me as Ms. Sam!"
Since 2009, Samantha has done great things and has had the pleasure of learning and growing with many little ones. After 5 years as a VPK teacher, she accepted a position as a Preschool Director, in which she has worked with many families and has loved seeing each little one grow. Currently, Samanatha serves as an Education Engagement Coordinator where her role consists of guiding and mentoring early childhood educators through their CDA credential journey, upskilling their knowledge and schools, and pursuing higher education degrees in ECE. Samantha also serves as a TEACH Scholarship Ambassador, Pre-K CLASS Observer, CCEI CDA Observer, and as a Preschool CDA Council PD Specialist. As a dedicated preschool teacher, she values implementing developmentally age-appropriate lessons and activities. Creating these intentional teachable moments motivated her every day as an educator. As an Early Childhood Educator, she sees all the possibilities in all the children and educators she has the opportunity to work with every day.
Her detailed experience consists of not only in the field hands on, but also within her Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies and Community Leadership, with a Preschool Minor, and she currently working on my Master of Education in Early Childhood Education! She has been featured in writing Early Childhood Education articles, television interviews, conference presentations, grant writing, content development, and more!"

This workshop will teach nannies and caregivers practical ways to include musical and rhythmic games in daily routines within childcare. The workshop will cover tips for children of all ages!

Larisa Suknov is an accomplished composer and successful music educator with over 40 years of teaching experience. Suknov has three piano books for children: Pirate Tales, Three Circus Pieces, Tangos and More, published by the Kjos Music Company. Suknov's books have been recognized by the National Federation of Music Clubs, Trinity College London, Music Educators Association of New Jersey and the Iowa Music Teachers Association. Suknov's music education began at age 7 in Odessa, Ukraine at the Children’s Music School. Her seven-year curriculum included an intense focus on piano, solfeggio, music theory, choir, and piano accompaniment. Thereafter, she attended the prestigious Professor Stolyarsky Special Music School. Subsequently, she attended and graduated from the Odessa State Conservatory. She accepted the piano teacher position at the Children’s Music School in Odessa where she taught children of all ages for 22 years. In 1993, Suknov sought better opportunities and immigrated to the United States with her family. Soon after, Suknov garnered a position as a piano accompanist with the New Jersey Ballet Company. Inspired by the artistry, she began composing music for ballet classes and numerous stage productions. In 1998, she opened a private piano studio teaching a wide range of students!
