International Food & Friends

Come and join us!

We meet in the hall next to St George's Anglican Church in Magill.

This is a FREE event where anyone and everyone is welcome.

At International Food and Friends (IFF), we spend time getting to know one another, share a story about Jesus from the Bible, and enjoy a free home-cooked meal.

If you're looking for something to do, want to improve your English skills, or are interested in finding out more about Jesus, please do come along!

Info: Dinner is provided by volunteers who home-cook meals for the event. Eat only what you think you will like and feel free to leave anything you're not sure about!

Info: We will often play a simple get-to-know-you game, like people bingo. Each person will have a piece of paper with a list of experiences or personality traits on it. We walk around the group introducing ourselves to others, and mark names of those who match the traits or experiences on the paper. The first person to mark all the boxes yells out "bingo!" to win.

Info: One of our volunteers will describe something interesting about Australian culture and also answer any questions you have about life in Australia.

Info: One of our volunteers will share a story about Jesus from the Bible. Sometimes there will be the opportunity to act out the story, or watch a video, or some other chance for interaction. This is followed by discussion
