International Day of Literacy Quiz Bowl

On behalf of The Jones Center of Academic Excellence, we would like to invite you to our third annual literary competition, the International Day of Literacy Quiz Bowl! This event is meant to enhance academic achievement and encourage life-long reading though competition. 6 schools on the elementary, middle school, and high school level will compete based on required reading completed during the summer months. Winners win cash prizes!
This event is also graciously sponsored by Louisiana Reading Association and Black Creatives Circle
Join us at 9:30 am at the Louise Williams Branch of the Ouachita Parish library at 140 Bayou Oaks Road in Monroe, Louisiana.
9:30 am - JS Clark vs Barkdull Faulk
10:30 - Carroll Jr. High vs Ouachita Parish Jr High
11:30 - Wossman High vs Carroll High
12:15 awards
